These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Statebuilder website and game (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The Service

Statebuilder is a 4X turn-based strategy game that is currently in active development. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and not all planned features have been implemented yet.

Your Account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use. You must be old enough to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.

Only one account per person is allowed. Detected duplicate accounts may be treated as a single account and share the same playtime limit.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you may not:

• Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Cheat, exploit, or interfere with other players' experience.
• Reverse engineer or copy the service except where permitted by law.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Premium Purchases

• Premium is a one-time payment, not a subscription. It grants access to Premium features for the stated duration. To renew, you purchase again.
• All prices are in USD. Depending on your location, VAT or sales tax may be added to the final price.
• Payments are handled by third-party payment providers, subject to their terms.
• All sales are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer protection law.

Changes to the Service

Because the game is under active development, features may be added, changed, or removed without prior notice, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We may also modify or discontinue the service at any time.

Intellectual Property

The service, including its software, graphics, and content, is owned by the operator and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and play the game for personal, non-commercial use.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
